Two Moon Are Not see In 2010

On August 27, 2003, Mars passed by Earth at only 34.6 million miles away. This was the closest pass in over 60,000 years. However, that day, began a yearly joke that tries to fool ignorant people each year. Each year since the 2003 event, e-mails and rumors have spread that on August 27, if you look at the sky, you will be able to see two moons. A moon, of course, being our regular moon, and the other is a planet near Mars.

2010 was no different. The emails have been received by thousands of people, who continue to pass them to your friends and family. There is nothing more than a chain letter very striking.


According to NASA, Mars is impossible to pass so close to the ground appears to be the size of our moon. It is simply not something that could occur unless the orbit of the entire galaxy to go wrong. If that were the case, would not be here to see it. Even on that night, when Mars was closer than had been in more than 60,000 years, just like a bright star to the naked eye.
