Isro Launches Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle

Indian space agency ISRO entered a new phase on Monday started the third satellite side hung three foreign satellites into orbit, reaching a total of 25 launches of satellites. Indian Space Research Organization in (ISRO) rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) called the 25-satellite launch assessment, when the Algerian satellite remote sensing AlSAT-2A
(116 kg) and two satellite nano - 6,1 AISSAT NLS-1 weighing 6.5 kg was built University of Toronto, Canada, and 1 kg of NLS 6,2 TISAT built by University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland - were put into orbit successfully.

After the successful launch on Monday, ISRO, with his rocket PSLV has once again proved its ability to launch multiple satellites, as well as in different orbits - a polar sun-synchronous, geosynchronous transfer orbit, and is very elliptical and low Earth orbits.

ISRO carries
out several runs for several years and in 2008 set a world record, launch 10 satellites at one go.

Indian space agency launched a foreign baggage in its PSLV rocket in 1999, when he was 110 kg KITSAT-3, South Korea and 45 kg DLR-Tubsat Germany.

Initially, foreign payloads have been taken as additional luggage piggy-backing on its own satellite by ISRO, mainly to use the available cargo space and still get some profit.

Subsequently, ISRO developed its "core self" version of PSLV - lightweight rocket, not the usual belt of six engines, which gives more traction in the early stages of flight.

The heavy load that foreign ISRO PSLV started with a 350-kg Italian satellite Agile in 2007.

Nevertheless, the big money for ISRO to launch heavy satellites, which weigh not less than three tons.

As the maximum capacity of PSLV in about 1750 kg, the Indian space agency developed another missile - a geostationary satellite launch vehicle (GSLV) - to launch satellites, which weigh over two tons.

Fully Indian rocket GSLV built - the ones without a Russian made cryogenic engine - is still in the testing phase. Missiles GSLV with Indian made cryogenic engine in April this year ended in the Bay of Bengal due to component failure.vv
